Don't panic! I'm not after money - although I reserve the option ;) and some people have even been kind enough to offer. But if you'd like to help, here are a few simple ideas which won't cost you anything and will help me promote Surftrackr as a contender in its field.
1. Link back to Surftrackr from your website or blog. This will increase visibility and help with search engine positioning.
2. Recommend Surftrackr to colleagues and other sys admins.
3. If you run a website, write an article or 'how-to' for Surftrackr, particularly if you have any case studies or success stories. Or send them to me and I can publish them here.
4. Send me the code for any customisations or improvements you might have made to Surftrackr.
5. Without being "spammy", mention Surftrackr if the opportunity arises in news-groups and on chat-boards, etc. Word-of-mouth is a valuable commodity and will help more people to get started with the program.
6. If you use another proxy, send me a logfile from that program and I'll see if I can integrate it with Surftrackr.
And finally, of course, send me your suggestions and ideas for Surftrackr. I won't adopt all of them, but I welcome constructive feedback and will always get back to you if you email me.
